Tacoma R/C Raceway is an indoor off-road RC racing facility in Tacoma, Washington, built around an indoor clay track. The 9,600-square-foot facility includes about 5,400 square feet of racing surface, plenty of pit space, power, and real-time race results.
Club racing runs twice a week on Fridays and Sundays, with open practice available on the other days. Friday racing starts at 6:00 PM after daytime practice, while Sunday racing starts at 1:00 PM. Practice is available for $5 per hour or $20 for the day, and race entry is $24 on Friday or $26 on Sunday.
There’s also a full-service hobby shop on site, so it’s easy to pick up parts or supplies while you’re there. Tacoma R/C Raceway hosts larger regional events throughout the year as well, including the Northwest Goldcup. For visitors, that means options for open practice, regular club racing, and larger regional race events throughout the year.
